Kalaimagal Karunalaya was started by Safrin Farhiem with one simple belief - that every elderly person deserves to be looked after with respect and warmth, no matter their circumstances.
We are based in Ganesh Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai, and we run completely on the generosity of donors and well-wishers. Every day, our team provides food, medical attention, and genuine companionship to the elders in our care.
We are not a big institution. We are a family. The elders here are not residents - they are our people, and we treat them that way.
